www.whonextguide.com is an online resource which helps children and young people discover authors who write in a similar style to their favourite writers. It is designed as a tool to help teachers and school librarians to guide children who have already enjoyed stories by one writer to find other authors they will enjoy reading.

The cost for a school to subscribe is  is £22 for one year£40.50 for two years or £56 for three years (price per 50 seat licence). Note: all prices quoted are subject to VAT.

We offer a 15% discount for customers who subscribe to both Who Next and our sister website, Who Else. Discounted prices can be viewed here.

A two‑week, one‑off, free trial is available.

Additional information

Schools are allocated 50 seats per licence which means that up to 50 users can be logged on to the site simultaneously.

There are multiple ways in which users can access www.whonextguide.com.

  • Username & Password – schools can be assigned a unique Username and Password, or individual users can each be given their own login details (this type of access allows users to login remotely as well as whilst at school)
  • IP Based Login – the IP addresses of school computers can be registered to provide automatic login for users 
  • URL Based Login – users are automatically logged on when visiting a license‑specific URL. This link must be published on a secure website but has the advantage of offering offsite access for users.

Access is configured via an easy to follow administration area of the website.
